About Me

For almost two decades, I've walked closely with women and families in seasons of crisis—betrayal, grief, trauma, and rebuilding.
I've witnessed the moment a woman finally tells the truth about what broke her—and the holy way God meets her there with tenderness and steadiness.

My work lives at the intersection of soul care, relational healing, and whole-person wellness, because I believe the soul and the body belong together.
Most often, though, the soul work I do is most often simple and quiet: creating safe, relational space where a woman can exhale, regulate, and return to herself—
without pressure, without fixing, and without being rushed.

My writing and curriculum are rooted in Scripture and spiritual formation, shaped by lived experience and ministry, and grounded in this belief:
healing begins with presence and remembering—remembering what was true before the fractures, and who God has always been.

I've recently completed Grit & Grace: Restoring the Feminine Soul and its companion bible study—both sparked anew by the birth of my first grandchild.
Together, they are an invitation back to your God-given identity, not through performance, but through restoration—and a gentle guide for helping others return to themselves, too.

Along the way, I've created devotionals, online courses, and small-group resources for churches and ministries, contributed to The Heart of Man documentary, and taught through writing, podcasting, and on-camera curriculum.

My Mission

Not long ago, I had an epiphany.

For years, I'd been part of movements trying to pump women up—including my own.
But what I've found personally is that I never feel more empowered than when I am doing my own soul care.
Quiet. Rest. Journaling. A walk in nature. Sitting at the edge of the water. Worship. Creativity flowing freely from a place of peace.

So I started listening.

I believe this with my whole heart: true empowerment doesn't come from noise—it comes from stillness.

For too long, women have been told to rise up, lean in, and push harder.
But the deepest transformation doesn't happen in striving.

It happens in the quiet. In rest. In the space where the soul finally exhales.

My mission is simple: to create that space for women.

Not to pump them up with words, but to give them room to breathe.
To offer soul care that reconnects them with who they truly are—not who the world tells them to be.

Because I believe that when a woman is restored in her soul, she doesn't just change herself.
She changes her environment. Her family. Her home. Her work. And ultimately, generations to come.

One woman, restored. One family, changed. One generation, transformed.

I live in Birmingham, Alabama, and am the mother of four grown children—one of my greatest joys!
And now a son-in-law, daughter-in-law and brand new grand-baby, Lively Grace.
We love the outdoors, playing (beach volleyball, tennis, pickleball, hiking), reminiscing around a fire-pit, singing, and being together.
Our story is still unfolding—held by grace, with lots of love and joy.

Meet Lively Grace . . .

As our family has grown, I have found myself reflecting on how much the birth of my granddaughter, Lively Grace, last November became a quiet beginning to this book. In the days leading up to her arrival, I was thinking and praying often, so excited to step back into that tender, nurturing, mothering space that I do not get to inhabit in the same way now with four grown children. And just two days after I held her in the hospital, I felt the Lord begin to unfold Grit & Grace in my heart. My prayer is that this book and companion bible study, born out of years of walking with courageous women and shaped by the faithfulness of God, will create a space for women to exhale, remember who they are, and step into their divine design in ways that shape generations.
